Academic researcher Salman Ebrahim Alhooti offered his congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on Bahraini Women’s Day.

The occasion was celebrated that year under the theme of Bahraini women in national development, coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women.

He praised the support Bahraini women receive in the public and private sectors and the recognition of their contribution across the Kingdom’s development programmes, within the wider national development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He also expressed appreciation for the government’s support under His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He said this support had helped strengthen women’s presence and active participation across sectors, where they had demonstrated competence and a commitment to professional development.

Alhooti stressed that Bahraini women had shown their ability to take responsibility and contribute to national work in many fields. This had enabled them to hold senior leadership positions in state institutions, in line with the Kingdom’s strategic vision for women’s participation, continued advancement and equal opportunities.
